Rubber stamp making involves engraving a rubber or polymer plate with a specific pattern, like text or a logo.
This can be done in two main ways:
- Using a laser machine, the design is created on a computer and then engraved onto the rubber plate.
- Using polymer, which is burned with UV light under a film printed with the desired details, transfer them onto the plate.
Rubber Stamps | Types Of Stamps
After crafting the stamps plate, it is attached to a handle, which can be either an ordinary handle or a self-inking handle.
The ordinary handle requires manual inking, meaning you need a separate ink pad to stamp. It can be attached to either a wooden or plastic handle, with the latter being slightly more expensive.
On the other hand, the self-inking handle comes with a built-in ink pad that automatically applies ink. It is available in various types: self-inking with adjustable date, self-inking without adjustable date, and DIY self-inking stam
